Scope of Data Collection and Processing

Our web-server automatically logs all access to our websites and collects the following types of data from an accessing user:

• Information about web-browser type and version
• Operating system
• IP Address
• Time and Date of access
• The documents that are accessed
• Referrer websites
• Which websites are accessed through links on our website
• Any occuring technical errors

This data is stored in the logs of our web-server. This data is not stored together with personal data or connected with any personal user data. Scionics is not using this data to identify users.

This website doesn’t use cookies.

Legal Basis of Processing

The legal basis for storing and processing the data and logs is Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

The Purposes of Processing

Logs are created and stored in order to ensure website functionality. This data is also used to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our IT infrastructure. Scionics will never process this data for marketing purposes.

Retention Time

The logs shall be processed and stored for seven days. If data is stored beyond that period, the possibly to identify a user shall be eliminated by anonymising or deleting any relevant data.

Right to Object and Deletion

For operation and maintenance purposes, as well as legal requirements, any user rights to object to the processing of these server logs, as well as their deletion, are not applicable.
